Tropical Bamboo Forest appears in Greater Manchester

Creative Continuity has completed another ‘inspirational interior’ by transforming a large office space in Leigh, Greater Manchester, into a tropical bamboo forest.

We were approached by Better Bathrooms, whose vision was to create an uplifting office environment to inspire their creative team and to energise visitors to the space. No stranger to innovation, this forward thinking, fast-growing and award winning company has achieved a high ranking in a recent Sunday Times Fast Track 100 survey.

The vision was the brainchild of Better Bathrooms' MD Colin Stevens who wanted to emulate the effect of walking through a fresh bamboo forest and for visitors and staff to have an occasional glimpse of distant wooded islands, set in a shimmering azure sea.

Creative Continuity worked to bring this idea to life by collating and constructing photographic images capable of being enlarged to 22 metres in length x 2.4 metres in depth, without loss of definition.

Having installed the bamboo forest effect, Colin's imagination didn't stop there. Creative Continuity used the same technique to recreate a photographic shot of the earth taken from outer space to span a 6 metre wall in the same office. This is printed on a fabric and tensioned into an aluminium frame system to create a perfectly flat surface. One of the advantages of this system is that images can be changed easily and quickly to create a new impact.

Creative Continuity created  “ Achievement Walls” consisting of a collage of Polaroid–style prints of the team, at award ceremonies, collecting a glittering and impressive array of trophies.

"Our imagination went wild in the quest to create an inspirational and uplifting office environment for both visitors and staff.  Creative Continuity really enabled us to bring our ideas to life on the walls and floors throughout the building" said Colin Stevens, Better Bathrooms.
